Background
Accenture’s myConcerto, previously referred to as the Accenture Intelligent Enterprise Platform, is an insight-driven, digitally integrated platform that orchestrates the power of new Oracle solutions and technologies, and Accenture’s industry and functional expertise—methods, tools, solutions, capabilities—to create exponential business outcomes. It enables clients to envision, innovate, develop and deliver end-to-end technology-based solutions — capturing the most advanced and disruptive Accenture thinking around industry, innovation, and technology to help companies reinvent themselves as intelligent enterprises.
Secondary Research
Collaboration
Designers collaborate with managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions
Iteration
After documenting the requirements designers come up with multiple iterations to arrive at simple but robust solutions, accounting for client feedback or business requirements.
Delivery
For smooth delivery, designers communicate the UX at various stages of the design process through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high fidelity prototypes.
Painpoints
-
Designs don’t look consistent across various industries.
-
Poor management of design files.
-
Designers have to design similar looking designs each time for new clients if the design file gets lost/deleted.
-
Recreating screens reduces efficiency and increases time to deliver the designs.

Why Toolkit?

Research
Stakeholders were interviewed, and their responses were used to conduct an affinity diagramming workshop. Thematic classification was then employed to further refine the identified challenges.

Key findings
-
There is no defined design component/ template.
-
There is no predefined set of samples for each platform.
-
New clients don’t fully understand the myC standard format.
-
Its difficult to manage and find files for the new designers.
-
Its a fast-going project with tight deadlines and no scope of making error. This makes it difficult to onboard new designers.
